VENTILATED FACADES

At Ascale, we redefine exterior architecture with our ventilated facades made of sintered stone. This construction system, based on a double skin separated by an air chamber, optimizes the building’s energy performance, improves interior comfort, and enhances the aesthetic value of any project.

We manufacture lightweight, durable, and sustainable surfaces, with large-format panels and multiple finishes. Thanks to sintering technology and the use of 100% natural minerals, our panels offer exceptional durability, resistance to UV rays, moisture, fire, and frost, without sacrificing a contemporary and customizable design.

The ventilated facade acts as a protective barrier against external agents, reduces thermal bridges, and facilitates natural ventilation, decreasing moisture buildup and improving indoor air quality.

With multiple fixing systems (hidden, visible, mechanical, or chemical), we guarantee a safe, fast, and highly precise installation.

Transform your facades into a statement of design, efficiency, and sustainability that lasts over time.

ADVANTAGES OF VENTILATED FACADES

DIBUJOS DE FACHADAS-01
1. Permeability
Air circulation promotes the release of water vapor from the inside to the outside, allowing the facade to "breathe" and preventing condensation buildup behind the panels. This will occur as long as a waterproof and breathable membrane is used.

2. Thermal insulation
By placing the insulation on the exterior of the structure, thermal bridges are eliminated, reducing temperature variations inside the building. This can result in energy savings that, in some cases, reach between 20% and 40%.

3. Solar protection
Facades help maintain comfortable thermal conditions by preventing overheating during the summer, acting as a barrier against direct solar radiation and other external factors.

4. Acoustic insulation
Being composed of multiple layers, the ventilated facade offers a higher level of sound absorption, which largely depends on the type of insulating material used.

5. Waterproofing
The air chamber creates a chimney effect that provides additional protection through air pressure, preventing water infiltration and safeguarding the building structure.

FAQs

What is a ventilated facade?

It is a construction system composed of an inner layer (support wall), an insulating layer, and an outer layer separated by a ventilated air chamber, which improves the building’s thermal insulation, acoustic insulation, and durability.

Yes. Ventilated facades are versatile and adapt to residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.

Minimal. The materials used are resistant to the passage of time and environmental conditions, and do not require special treatments.

Yes. By improving the building’s energy efficiency, it reduces heating and cooling consumption, contributing to environmental care.

• Hidden mechanical fixing (slotted or with clips)
• Visible fixing with lacquered clips
• Chemical fixing with structural adhesives
• Mixed systems (mechanical + chemical)
• Bonded facades with hidden anchors
