Here’s a simple and practical guide to keep your worktops looking as good as new, even during the most demanding months of the year.

1.Hassle-free daily cleaning

For routine maintenance of your Ascale surfaces, all you need is a cloth dampened with water and neutral soap. It is ideal for cleaning splashes and everyday debris without damaging the material.

• Stubborn stains? Dampen with hot water degreasing soap, leave for a few minutes and remove with a soft cloth.
• Avoid abrasive scouring pads or blades, especially if you have polished finishes.
• Use microfibre cloths to care for the finish and maintain the natural shine or texture.

2. Special care in summer: heat, barbecues and direct sunshine

During the summer, worktops can be exposed to higher temperatures, especially in open or outdoor kitchens. To ensure their durability:

• Use trivets or thermal bases if you place hot containers directly on the surface.
• Avoid direct contact with barbecues, electric grills or other sources of extreme heat.
• Do not cut directly on the worktop.
• Avoid leaving aggressive cleaning products for long periods: if you use bleach, rinse with plenty of water and do not leave it on for more than 1 hour.
