In a privileged setting on the Costa Brava, this residential project reflects a balance between contemporary brutalism and Mediterranean warmth.
The kitchen, conceived as a central and sculptural space, is clad with our Etna Black surface, adding depth, sobriety, and a mineral texture that dialogues with the exposed concrete volumes and the clean lines of the architectural design.
Inspired by volcanic stones from southern Italy, the Etna Black series is defined by a uniform yet random graphic variation, with natural wear and pronounced veining along the edges of each piece. An elegant surface with a strong personality, capable of bringing a distinctive and memorable character to any space.
This project is the result of collaboration between the architectural studio Contrast Arquitectura and the construction company Interdico Building, both deeply rooted in the region.
The Etna Black surface serves here as a unifying element, enhancing the monolithic character of the home without compromising functionality or design.
Ceramic, porcelain, glass, and natural stone coverings are ideal for their durability and ease of cleaning.
Consider materials such as quartz, granite, or marble, which offer resistance, durability, and an elegant aesthetic finish.
They are more affordable, lighter, easier to install and maintain, with a very similar appearance to natural marble.
