Architecture studio Contrast Arquitectura has opened its new office in Santa Cristina d’Aro, a space that perfectly reflects its design philosophy: functionality, sustainability, and harmony with the surrounding environment.
Designed by the studio’s own team, the project was conceived using natural and locally sourced materials, with every detail carefully considered to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The construction was carried out by Interdico Home Builder, with interior design by Dalmau Interiors.
Among the standout materials in the project are the kitchen countertops in the cement-look Cosmopolita Ivory finish by Ascale. This surface stands out for its sober, balanced aesthetic—ideal for spaces seeking visual continuity and a contemporary feel. The Ivory tone brings an added sense of elegance, becoming a key element of the overall interior design.
Cement-look countertops like Cosmopolita Ivory are highly valued by architects and interior designers for their versatility, durability, and ability to integrate seamlessly into urban- or industrial-inspired interiors.
This project is a clear example of how Ascale materials deliver both technical and aesthetic value in high-level architectural spaces.
Ceramic, porcelain, glass, and natural stone coverings are ideal for their durability and ease of cleaning.
Consider materials such as quartz, granite, or marble, which offer resistance, durability, and an elegant aesthetic finish.
They are more affordable, lighter, easier to install and maintain, with a very similar appearance to natural marble.
